BMW opts for RobSimulation software for virtual simulation of door tests with multi-robots

For the first time, the door test functions can be derived from CAD data, simulated virtually using digital and functionalTwins, and the optimized simulation results can be transferred directly to the multi-robots for actual commissioning. With simulation and offline programming, test procedures can now be created early before the test vehicles are ready.

With the transfer to global beach resorts, the test procedures are standardized and the test results are comparable. Overall, these benefits optimize testing processes and result in significant cost and time savings.
